I’m an artist and academic interested in histories of art, technology, media, and architecture/urbanism.

I am Associate Senior Lecturer of Digital Humanities and Associate Professor (Docent) of Art History in the Department of Archives, Libraries, and Museums (ALM) at Uppsala University.

I have taught internet and media studies, art history, and architectural history in Stockholm, Amsterdam and New York in previous academic roles.

I am the author of three monographs, the most recent of which is Computational Formalism: Art History and Machine Learning (forthcoming May 2023, MIT Press). See writing for both academic and non-academic publications.

My artwork has been exhibited internationally. See art.
