This Invisible Place (2011)

| This piece was comprised of wifi routers broadcasting in the exhibition space at De Hallen Museum in Haarlem as part of the show He Disappeared Into Complete Silence (Sept. 23-Dec 4 2011). Each wifi router's name/SSID signal was the line of a twice-translated poem by Rumi. When visitors or people outside the museum in the Grotemarkt square of Haarlem searched for wifi networks, they would discover the poem. More information can be found at www.thisinvisibleplace.com |
